At this level, do any of our projects even have an real effect? Is there even such thing as a novel idea? I wonder how the lecturers feel having seen the same thing over and over again and if they've ever come across a truly novel project.

All our projects are so ambitious! Building awareness for art and design in Singapore, a solution to mobility for the blind, solving sustainable fashion. As a philosophical pessimist (fancy labels), no project we do will ever matter or have a lasting effect on anything or anyone. This doesn't mean we shouldn't do anything though, but I think we should research for the sake of researching. The process and every step of the way is more important than any end goal. Solve sustainable fashion for the sake that it is in itself, good and don't expect to actually solve it.
